Sherwood
Sherwood is located at the northern edge of the city. It is bounded to the east by Kincora, to the south by the Hamptons, and to the west by Sarcee Trail. A part of the Symon’s Valley Region, Sherwood park won the New Community of the year award from the Canadian Home Builder’s Association in 2004. Golfers have close access to the Hampton’s Golf Course and there are many recreational opportunities at the vast Nose Hill Park. There is a also a stormwater pond in the community with a gazebo that makes it a picturesque place for walking and outdoor activities. The east entrance to the community boasts a grand stone tower and entry wall.
